 Chipping with ease!

Treat your Chip shot like a putt:

A chipping stroke, like a putting stroke, is a shoulder turn movement.  Try a few putts from the rough next time you practice your short game, you'll notice your wrists are very still and not bending, and the putting motion is actually being controlled by your shoulders.  We tend to do this more instinctively while putting.

We want our chipping stroke to be the same.  We make good contact when we allow our shoulder turn, as opposed to bending our wrists, to dominate the chipping swing.

Remember as well, make sure your club meets the ground during your follow through, so it decends on the ball to ensure contact on the face of the club.
